Description

This stable range, built around 1910, is located approximately 75 yards north of Manor Farmhouse in Upper Slaughter. It is attributed to the architect known as "Mr. Gray" and was commissioned by H. A. Brassey, a railway millionaire. The structure is made of rubble with Cotswold stone roofs and features a roughly symmetrical design. It consists of three taller blocks, each with two bays. The southwest block has two 2-light mullion windows and two outer doors, while the middle and northeast blocks are open-fronted. There are lower linking blocks that are slightly set back, designed for animal sheds.
