Description

Manor Farm Cottages, a pair of estate cottages, were built around 1910 and are attributed to "Mr Gray of London" for H A Brassey, a railway magnate. The cottages are constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and feature a large central stack. Designed in the Cotswold style, they are 1½ storeys high and have three and four light mullion windows with drops. The front of each cottage has two windows and Cotswold gables in the attics. There are single storey extensions on each side that include an entrance and a scullery. The design is consistent, with symmetrically arranged mullion windows at the rear as well. These cottages are part of a well-preserved estate group.
