Description
This building is a house located approximately 20 meters to the northwest of Church House. It was originally two houses but has been converted into a single detached house. The structure dates from the early to mid-19th century and is constructed of coursed rubble limestone with ashlar chimneys and a stone slate roof.
The house is two stories high with an attic and features a rear outshut. The front has a four-window arrangement, with the outer ground floor displaying three-light recessed chamfered mullioned casements and two-light casements on the upper floor. There were originally two doorways towards the center; the right doorway is now blocked, while the left has a chamfered opening with a four-panel door. The house also has two hipped roof attic dormers and gable end chimneys. The rear outshut has a large catslide roof and timber casements below. The interior has not been inspected. This building exemplifies the 19th-century adaptation of Cotswold architectural features to a later plan type.
