Description
Bell House and Staddlestones, located on the south side of Park Street, is probably from the early 18th century but was remodeled in the mid-19th century, with further modernization to Bell House. The building is two storeys high, constructed of rubble with a machine-tile roof. Staddlestones features two chimneys, one of which has an ashlar base. Both properties have two windows each, mostly modern casements. Bell House has a window with a cambered head on the ground floor to the right, along with projecting modern gabled porches. The rear of Bell House showcases a wide 19th-century gable. Inside, Bell House retains a large stone fireplace in the front room on the ground floor. Staddlestones includes a panelled hall and front room, as well as two large ingle-type fireplaces on the ground floor.
