Description

Park Farmhouse, formerly listed as No. 5, dates from the 1730s to 1740s and shows the influence of artisan baroque design. This building is two and a half storeys tall and constructed from coursed rubble with a Cotswold stone roof. It features a gabled dormer and a rubble chimney that is shared with Coniston. There are two windows on the first floor, which have chamfered mullions, raised surrounds, and keys adorned with carved putto heads. The ground floor window has a bold cornice and key, which is also repeated on the elliptic-headed doorway to the right. The doorway is fitted with an early 20th-century door.
