Description

This description is for a pair of gatepiers located approximately 25 meters to the northeast of Southrop Manor. They date from the early 19th century and are constructed from ashlar limestone. The gatepiers are square with inset corners, featuring plain chamfered bases. At the top, they have moulded caps that support unusual urns decorated with vine motifs around their tops.
