Description
Widdow's Close is a building dating from around 1710, with the left side having been remodeled in the mid-19th century and some modern alterations. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features coursed rubble on the left side, which is squared. The roof is slate with coped verges, and the eaves on the left side were raised in the early to mid-19th century. The right side has a gabled dormer. The windows are modern, consisting of three and four-light 'Cotswold mullion' styles, and there is a modern door with a porch located to the right of the center. At the rear, there is a hipped stair turret that includes a pigeon loft. Inside, the building contains a shallow vaulted cellar, chamfered beams and joists, and an inglenook fireplace. The listing includes the interior and the rear of the building.
