Description
This is a group of three chest tombs located about 15 meters northwest of the porch in the churchyard of the Church of the Holy Cross. They date from the late 17th century and are made of limestone. Each tomb features a flat top with deep moulded capping, although the bases are not visible. The side panels are rectangular, but all inscriptions have been worn away. The tomb to the southwest has a fine row of dentils in the moulding of its capping, while the other two tombs have heavy bolstered ends. At the time of the survey in September 1984, all three tombs were partially overgrown and sinking.
