Description
The Old Rectory is a former rectory that has been converted into a private house, dating from the early 18th century. It features a rendered exterior and a Cotswold stone slate roof with paired hipped gables that create a double range, along with two stone ridge stacks. The building is two storeys tall and has scattered dormer windows.
The entrance front faces west and includes a single central 12-pane sash window above an altered entrance porch, with a 4-pane 19th-century sash window to the left on the ground floor. Original openings on either side of the first floor and to the right on the ground floor have been blocked. The garden front, which faces north, has two large 12-pane sash windows on each floor and a six-panel door. Inside, much of the original 18th-century joinery remains.
