Description
Croft End is a small semi-detached cottage dating from the 18th century, which was enlarged with a new front wing in the early 19th century. The front is made of coursed rubble stone, while the rear is constructed from rubble. It features alternating flush quoins and an asbestos slate roof on the 19th-century section, which is set behind a large curved and coped "Dutch" gable that includes kneelers and a large urn finial. The building has two storeys at the rear and three storeys at the front. The front section has one window on the second floor, which is a 9-pane sash, and a 12-pane sash window below, both with flush stone surrounds. To the left, there is a stone doorcase with a small open pediment and a 4-panel bolection moulded door.
