Description
Three columns stand in front of the Cotswold House Hotel, dating from around 1800. These cast iron columns are fluted Doric posts that frame the forecourt of the hotel and the coachway leading to the Kings Arms. To the west, there are two coachways divided by an ashlar wall that is approximately 5 feet high and 10 yards long. This wall ramps up and angles to the north, connecting to a rubble wall about 8 feet high that links to the stable of Cotswold House. The coachway for Cotswold House is cobbled and extends for about 20 yards.
