Description
The Square Scissors and Circa Antiques, known as The Firs, is a mid-19th century building located on the north-west side of High Street. It is two storeys high and constructed of coursed and dressed rubble, topped with a slate roof that features a central ashlar chimney. The facade includes a central pilaster strip and a narrow band above the ground floor. On the first floor, there are two plain sash windows with keys, while the ground floor has one sash window and a 20th-century shop front that is in keeping with the overall style of the building.
