Description

The Salad Bowl and Garden Shop, formerly listed as premises 50 yards southwest of the Noel Arms, is a building that was remodeled in the 18th century. It has two storeys and is constructed of square ashlar blocks, topped with a Cotswold stone roof. There is an ashlar chimney on the right side. The first floor features two windows with glazing bar sashes, while the ground floor has late 19th-century bay shop windows that are connected by a common hood over a central half-glazed door. At the rear, there is a modern tile roof that retains a segment-headed dormer window. The building has L-plan rear extensions in four parts, with the northern part having a stone-tiled roof and the southern end featuring a weather-boarded first floor.
