Description

The premises of Wheelers and L Smith, dating from around 1700, are constructed of coursed squared rubble and feature a Cotswold stone roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has three windows across the front. On the ground floor, there are two small shop windows, a plain doorway, a casement window, and a moulded four-centred arch stone doorway leading to an alleyway. The first floor includes two three-light stone mullion casements with drip moulds on the left and a modern replacement tripartite casement on the right. The roof is steeply pitched and includes two gabled dormers.
