Description
The Kings Arms Hotel, specifically the south-west block, is likely from the late 17th century and was remodeled around 1800. It stands two and a half storeys tall, constructed of ashlar stone with a band above the ground floor. The roof is made of Cotswold stone and is continuous with Darby's House, featuring two gabled dormers with casement windows. There are end chimneys and the building has three bays; the outer windows on the first floor are four-light casements, while the center window is a two-light casement. On the ground floor, there are tripartite angled bays on each side. To the left of center, there is a glazed door with an open pedimented doorpiece. The first-floor windows may have originally resembled those of the adjacent Darby House.
