Description
Yew Tree Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 17th century to the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with a brick ridge and end stack. The building is a single range of two storeys and has an attic in the gable end, probably featuring a lobby entry. There is a single-storey wing to both the east and west, along with several 20th-century rear extensions that are not of special interest.
The front of the farmhouse has three windows, which include twin six-pane casements with a timber lintel, positioned with one to the left and two to the right. On the ground floor, there is a similar arrangement to the right, with a door located to the left of centre beneath a blind wall space and below the stack. This door is half-glazed and features a gabled porch hood. To the left, there is a twin eight-pane casement set into a cambered stone arch. The single-storey wing has a half-glazed door and a single light. On the east side, there is a brick end stack and a corrugated iron roof, along with two plank doors and small openings to the north, all of which have timber lintels.
