Description
Five headstones are located about 6 meters southeast of the Whitford monument in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary. They are arranged in two rows. Four of the headstones are likely from the mid to late 18th century, while the one in the southern row to the west is probably from the early 18th century. The headstones are made of limestone. The four later stones feature high relief cartouches with cherub's heads. The older stone has a triangular inset at the top with foliage carvings on each side and twin cherub heads on the tablet below. These monuments are included for their group value, situated between the Whitford Monument and the two Tovey Monuments.
