Description
This circular dovecote, built in the 19th century, is located 45 meters southeast of Chantry House in Daglingworth. Constructed from limestone rubble, it features a stone slate roof. The dovecote has a circular plan with a single-width entrance on the southeast side and a small window to the right of the doorway, which currently serves as access for the doves. The roof is conical and topped with a ball finial at the apex. Inside, there are pigeon holes positioned about head height, along with a single landing stage at both the top and bottom of the plastered wall area that contains the pigeon holes.
