Description
The former dairy, located approximately 30 meters northeast of Notgrove Manor, is likely designed by A.N. Prentice for Cyril Cunard. It is constructed of limestone rubble with squared and dressed quoins and features a thatched roof. The building has an octagonal plan and is a single storey. Each face includes two-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with diamond leaded panes. There is a plank door set within a moulded and dressed stone surround, which has carved spandrels. The roof is topped with a central thatched louvred octagonal lantern and a weathervane. Inside, there is a tiled floor and a central sunken octagonal feature that may have been a fountain or water source. A niche for a statue is located in the wall opposite the entrance, and the walls are painted with a blue lattice pattern and the monogram 'C B C'.
