Description
Hill View is a detached cottage located in Notgrove Village, dating from the late 17th century to the mid-18th century. It is built of limestone rubble with an artificial stone slate roof and features an ashlar stack. The cottage has a rectangular plan and is 1½ storeys high. The gabled entrance front includes a single bay extension on the right side.
The upper floor is lit by a two-light stone-mullioned casement, while the ground floor has a single light 20th-century steel casement. Both casements are fitted with leaded panes. To the right of the single light, there is a 20th-century gabled porch with a plank door. The right gable end has two two-light stone-mullioned casements, one of which is made from a single stone slab. The upper floor also features a two-light stone-mullioned casement with a stopped hood. At the rear, there is a projecting bread oven. The interior has not been inspected.
