Description

Wold Cottage is likely a 17th-century, one-and-a-half storey cottage. It has a rubble construction with a thatched roof, presenting a gable end to the road. A modern chimney is present. Two eyebrow dormers are located on the south side, and a central catslide section rises from the ground floor, incorporating two windows (one mullioned) and a door set at the angle of this break. A range of mullion windows are found on the west gable. Timber lintels are visible at the rear. A large, modern, cross-gabled extension has been added to the east.
