Description
Simmons' monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary, approximately 7 metres southeast of the chancel. It commemorates Thomas Simmons, who died in 1772, and his sister Mary, who died in 1787, with an inscription on the south side. The north side has no legible inscription. The monument is made of limestone and features a capping with a moulded margin and a single upper capping stone.
