Description
These are two cottages dating from the early 19th century, originally built as three. They are located on the north-west side of High Street, Blockley, between Jasmine Cottage and The Crown Inn. The cottages are built of coursed rubble stone, with a chamfered course below the eaves. They have a slate roof. The upper floor has three windows with wooden mullions and casements, with leaded glazing to the left. The ground floor has three angled bays, with wooden glazing bars to the left. A panelled door is on the right-hand side, while the left-hand doors have been blocked. There is a through passage alley in the centre of the right side, featuring a segmental archway. There are two modern chimneys and one larger original chimney, the latter potentially related to Jasmine Cottage. The cottage closest to Jasmine Cottage is named Hillview.
