Description
Jasmine Cottage, specifically the north-east part, is a building that was formerly a separate cottage and likely dates from the early 18th century, with some alterations. It stands two and a half storeys tall and is constructed from coursed and squared rubble. The roof is made of concrete tiles and features a coped verge on the left side. There is a gabled dormer, and each floor has one window, which is irregular with three lights each. The windows are casements, with wooden lintels on the first floor and a restored mullioned window with a drip on the ground floor. To the right, there is a Tudor arch doorway that has been converted into a two-light mullioned window, although the Tudor arch appears to be as 20th century as the mullioned window itself. Access to this part of the cottage is through Jasmine Cottage.
