Description
The former stable and granary with an attached cart shed at Coxe's Farm dates from the early 19th century, with a date of 1817 inscribed above the side door. The stable and store are constructed from coursed rubble stone and feature quoins, topped with a Cotswold stone-slate roof that has an off-center ridge creating a catslide roof at the front. The front has a door and a square window. On the side, there are 16 stone steps leading up to the granary, which has four uneven-sized bays and a flat stone door hood. The door at the foot of the steps also features a large flat stone hood and a large lintel with a central keystone that contains an inscription. Above the granary, there are three slit vents in the gable. At the rear, the cart shed is built of rubble stone and has a double Roman tile roof. It consists of two bays of unequal size with open fronts supported by a timber lintel, and the center dividing wall has an attached round column.
