Description
The James Orsborn monument is a chest tomb located approximately 8 metres east of the northeast corner of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of St. Leonard. It commemorates James Orsborn, who died in 1812. The tomb is made of limestone and features a flat limestone top, which once had an iron railing surrounding it. The base includes a plinth with moulded capping and quarter balusters at each corner. The ends of the tomb have fielded panels, and there are inscriptions on the sides, topped with a moulded capping stone.
