Description
Jasmine Cottage is a Grade II listed building that was originally farm buildings, later converted into two cottages, and now functions as a single house. It dates from the late 18th century to the 19th century and was converted into two cottages around 1930. The structure is built from coursed squared and dressed limestone with a stone slate roof and features ashlar and brick stacks.
The building has a rectangular plan with single-roomed extensions set back from the facade on both the left and right sides. The main section has two storeys and an attic, which is illuminated by two roof dormers, while the single-storey extensions are located on either side. The facade has four windows, each fitted with two-light casements that have leaded panes. There is an early 20th-century part-glazed door on the right, a blocked door between the lower left windows, a plank door to the left-hand extension, and another early 20th-century part-glazed door to the right-hand extension. Gable-end stacks are present. The interior has not been inspected.
