Description
Jockey Stable Cottages, built in the 18th century and altered around 1844, is an L-plan structure that was formerly three cottages. It is a single-storey building with an attic, constructed of rubble and topped with a Cotswold stone roof featuring coped verges and ashlar chimneys. The roof is hipped to the northwest. The building has a total of six windows arranged in a 3:3 pattern, with mostly small-paned, two and three-light casements, and timber lintels on the southwest wing. There are two gabled dormers on the southeast wing, which is older and includes a two-light mullion window and the remains of another. The property has three doors. It is included for its group value and was noted to be derelict and structurally unsound at the time of the last survey.
