Description

The rockery and grotto located at the south-east corner and as a terrace to the south of Spring Hill House were likely built in the mid to late 19th century. This large grotto and rockery feature is now overgrown and consists of enormous, loosely piled rocks that create an irregular garden feature. The grotto is integrated into the design and extends partly as a front terrace to the house.
