Description
The listing describes three chest tombs located about 12 meters southeast of the Williams monument in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary. The tombs include two unidentified monuments from 1820 and 1799, as well as the Prior monument, which commemorates Sarah, who died in 1787, and John, who died in 1813 and was noted as the "Master of Adjacent Free School." All three tombs are made of limestone and feature stepped tent tops of different designs, with a moulded plinth and capping, and a plain frieze.
From east to west, the unidentified monument from 1820 has an oval panel on its north side and reeded side strips, while the unidentified monument from 1799 is similar but has low relief side strips; both are badly eroded. The Prior monument has plain sides and ends, with clearly incised inscriptions on all sides.
