Description
Paxton House is a villa dating from around 1830 to 1840. It is constructed of Cotswold stone ashlar with a low-pitched hipped roof covered in Welsh slate, set beneath wide eaves. The building has a band marking the first floor level and originally contained five sash windows with glazing bars. A central arched doorway features a traceried fanlight and side lights, with a panelled door set within panelled reveals and beneath a fluted lintel.
