Description
No. 143, Gloucester Street is an early 19th-century house. The house is built of coursed squared limestone with a concrete tile roof and brick and rendered stacks at the left and right ends. It is two storeys and an attic, with a single-window front. The first floor has a 20th-century two-light timber casement window with a flat arch lintel and stone sill. The ground floor has two similar windows with stone lintels and concrete sills. A 20th-century door with a glazed panel is positioned centrally. A gabled dormer on the attic level contains a similar two-light casement window. The house has a shallow plinth. The interior was not inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
