Description

Three houses on Gloucester Street date from the mid-19th century. They are built of coursed squared limestone with a stone slate roof and have two brick ridge stacks. The houses are two storeys and an attic, with a three-window front. The first floor has three 19th-century two-light iron casement windows with leaded lights set in plain reveals with stone sills. The ground floor has three similar windows, and three 20th-century hardwood doors also set in plain reveals. There are three gabled half-dormers each containing a two-light window. A shallow plinth is present, along with band courses over the ground and first floors; flush quoins highlight the left and right angles. The interior has not been inspected. The houses are included on the list for their group value.
