Description

The Stone House is a mid-19th century building constructed of golden ashlar. It has two storeys and a basement, with a full storey on the east (river) front. The slate roof features coped verges and end chimneys. The front facade includes three sash windows, each with one vertical glazing bar. There is a central four-panel door with a glazed overlight above it. A band runs over the ground floor, and the rear basement windows are of the three-light mullion type with drips. The building holds group value within its context.
