Description

This milestone, located approximately 100 meters northeast of the turning to Farmington Village, dates from the 19th century. It is made of limestone and features a cast-iron inscription plate. The stone has a segmental head and stands about 90 centimeters tall. The inscription plaque displays raised lettering that reads: 'STOW 8 / CIREN R 11 / BATH 44'. This milestone was previously listed under the parishes of Northleach and Eastington but was removed from the list on October 8, 2014.
