Description
A pair of shops, likely originally a single building, dating from the late 17th century. The construction is rubble stone with a Cotswold stone slate roof, and a single brick ridge stack in the centre. The building is a single range with two gables facing the street. It is single-storied with an attic. Number 3 has a 20th-century shop front and a small 20th-century window in its gable. Number 5 features a late 19th or early 20th-century tiled butcher's shop front and a large 19th-century window in its gable. The building has group value, contributing to the character of the area.
