Description

Page's Bakery is a building that was likely refronted around 1700. It has two storeys and is constructed of ashlar with a slate roof. The facade features three bays with ovolo mullion windows that have drips, arranged in 3, 2, and 4-lights, along with a shop window located on the ground floor to the right. There is a central doorway with a beaded surround, leading to a five-panel door, of which the upper two panels are glazed. Historical documents mention a lease from 1639 for a baker, and it is said that the old "flame" oven still survives.
