Description

Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, part of Top of the Hill, is a building dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of rubble and features a concrete tile roof, rising to two and a half storeys. The gable includes a three-light ovolo-moulded mullion window with a drip, while the first floor has a late 19th-century plate glass sash window. On the ground floor, there is a modern bow window supported by 17th-century brackets, and a modern door is located to the right. Additionally, there is a contemporary rear extension, and the building is said to have a medieval undercroft.
