Description

Stuart House is an early 19th-century building with a refronting. It is located on the south side of Digbeth Street. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The original rendering or stucco has been removed, revealing rubble construction. A concrete tile roof is hidden behind a parapet. The outer bays feature single-hung sashes in raised dressings. The central bay contains an arched doorway with a six-panel door and a radial fanlight, above which is a niche. The front of Stuart House is based on the design of Tayler and Fletcher from 1807 on the square.
