Description
The dovecot, located in the garden of The Walled Garden, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone slate roof. The building is cross-gabled and square in shape, rising to two storeys. At its center, there is a raised wooden arched lantern topped with a swept stone roof, a stone ball finial, and a bird figure. The gables each have a small single light with a cambered head. Access to the dovecot is now through the garden of The Walled Garden, as it is no longer part of the garden of Bridge House. The interior is not accessible, and a complete view of the exterior is not possible.
