Description

No. 2 Little London is a detached cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed of large limestone rubble, with coursed squared and dressed limestone on the right gable end. The roof is made of limestone slate and features ashlar gable end stacks with moulded tops and skirtings. The cottage has a two-room plan, one room deep, and is one storey high with an attic that includes two gabled dormers along the eaves. The windows are modern 20th-century casements, with one, two, and three lights. A bread oven projects from the rear wall towards the left.
