Description

This milestone, dating from the 19th century and possibly featuring a later plaque, is located on the east side of the A435 in Bagendon. It is made of limestone and has a cast iron plaque. The stone is eroded and has a segmental head, with the plaque displaying the inscription 'CIREN.R./2/CHELT.M/13' in raised lettering.
