Description
The outbuildings located approximately 10 meters east of Sevenhampton Manor are listed as grade II and date from the 16th century and late 19th century. The 16th-century section features large blocks of coursed squared and dressed limestone with an artificial stone slate roof, while the 19th-century part is constructed of rock-faced limestone, also topped with an artificial stone slate roof. The 16th-century portion is at the right end of the range, with a similar 16th-century store or dovecote located at the left end. Between these two 16th-century units is a stable block from the 19th century.
The 16th-century unit on the right has one and a half storeys, with stone steps leading up to a plank door in the east-facing gable end. Above this door is a round-headed window. There is also a two-light stone-mullioned casement at the same level in the opposite gable end, and a garage door is situated in the right-hand wall. The gable end features slightly stepped coping with roll-cross saddles.
The 19th-century stables on the left have two double plank garage doors set within a segmental-headed surround. There are also two plank doors to the right, framed by segmental-pointed surrounds, and a four-pane window to the right, also within a segmental-pointed surround. The 19th-century section has a hipped roof. The interior has not been inspected.
