Description

The former Congregational Church, built in 1860, is now converted into a house. It features coursed squared and dressed limestone with a slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan and a symmetrical facade. The gable end, facing the road, has offsets and a trefoil bell-hanging at the apex. It is buttressed with offsets and has steeply pointed coping. A tall central three-light window with a trefoil light at the apex is present, along with an inscription below the window that reads 'CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH SUNDAY SERVICES 11AM - 6PM'. The window has a pointed hood with square foliate stops, and there are single small lancets on either side. Below, pointed 19th-century plank doors are flanked by hoods with foliate stops. The gable end features flat coping, triangular kneelers, and a roll-cross saddle at the apex.
