Description

There are two unidentified chest tombs located about 3 meters southeast of the porch in the churchyard of the Church of St. James. They are likely from the early 18th century and made of limestone. The tomb to the north features chamfered capping and a moulded plinth, with plain slab sides and ends. The tomb to the south has a deep moulded plinth and capping, with vestigial plain lyre ends and plain recessed rectangular side panels. At the time of the survey in February 1986, the tombs were showing signs of breaking up.
