Description

Nine monuments, including the Russell monument and four to the Luckman family, are arranged in a line about 9 meters long, located immediately east of the Bedwell monument in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary. The chest tomb for the Luckman family dates back to 1746, and there is a row of six headstones to the southwest of this tomb. Three of the headstones belong to the Luckman family from the mid to late 18th century, while one double headstone in the center commemorates Russell and dates to 1794.

The monuments are made of limestone. From north to south, the Luckman chest tomb features a stepped tent top with a curved section and short roll moulding, along with a moulded plinth and capping that includes a fluted frieze with rosettes. The corners are quarter baluster style, and the plain recessed ends have egg and dart moulding, with low relief cartouches on the sides. The three Luckman headstones display high relief cartouches and cherub heads, with one headstone having an additional rear stone. To the south of these, there are three headstones with a double central stone; the southern side is plain and recessed, while the northern side features flat cherub heads and rosette decoration in the center, along with high relief cartouches and cherub heads, all with additional rear stones.
