Description

These are a pair of gate piers dating to circa 1825. They are constructed of ashlar facing brick. The piers are octagonal in plan, featuring shaped plinths, a crowning band, a frieze with cornice, and a raised cap. They are approximately 2 metres high. The gate piers are an integral part of the original setting of Brandon House and represent a significant feature in the streetscape.
