Description
Two monuments are located in the churchyard of the Church of St Peter, 3 to 5 meters west of the west end. The first is an unidentified chest tomb made of limestone, featuring lyre-shaped ends that appear to be upside down. It has a plain inscription panel that is partially legible but badly eroded at the bottom on the north side. The tomb is topped with thick capping that has a moulded margin. The second monument is an unidentified headstone situated approximately 2.5 meters northeast of the chest tomb. This headstone has an oval inscription panel with a raised margin and features a large cherub's head with a swag draped around its neck at the top. The carving on this headstone is particularly bold and well-defined.
