Description

This is a house dating from the late 16th to mid-17th century. It is timber-framed, with a rubble stone plinth on the left gable end and painted brick on the right. The roof is thatched and features decorative ridge thatching, with a rendered stack. The house has a rectangular plan with a baffle entry. It is single-storied with an attic. The ground floor has an irregular arrangement of windows including one small, likely 18th-century casement, possibly a fire window; three 19th-century casements with horizontal glazing bars or leaded panes; and two 20th-century windows with leaded panes. An eyebrow dormer features a two-light window and a three-light window. A two-light casement with horizontal glazing bars and a cambered head is located on the left gable end, with a similar casement above. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
