Description
A row of nine medieval grave slabs is located in the churchyard of the Church of St Peter, immediately west of the porch. These slabs are made of limestone and feature traces of incised crosses on the upper surface of four of them. The slab at the center of the row has a pronounced ridge, while one other slab has a slight ridge. Additionally, raised crosses can be found at the wider end of five of the slabs. These grave slabs were discovered during the digging of foundations for the new nave and north aisle in the late 19th century.
